Kojš, Denis ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Mazal, Pavel (advisor)
Thesis deals with the design, implementation and verification of functionality of station designed for measuring of acoustic emissions from pneumatic cylinders for the purpose of fault diagnosis. The first part of this thesis includes an overview of previous work dealing with the diagnosis of pneumatic systems, also works dealing with the diagnosis of various machine parts using acoustic emission. Further work contains a description of the proposed conceptual design and final draft is described in detail, including occurred complications and their solutions. The last part describes the results of measurements of acoustic emissions from damaged and undamaged cylinders. Functionality of the station is verified by comparing the frequency spectra and envelopes of measured acoustic emission signal.
Diagnosis of Pneumatic Cylinders Using Acoustic Emission Methods
Mahmoud, Houssam ; Baran,, Ireneusz (referee) ; Santos, Serge Dos (referee) ; Mazal, Pavel (advisor)
Signály z vysouvání a zasouvání pístu byly zaznamenány a analyzovány pomocí řady parametrů. Poškozené a nepoškozené válce byly rozlišeny pomocí rozdílů energetických hodnot přítomných v signálech z obou snímačů v závislosti na zdvihu pístu. Konečné vyhodnocení válce bylo určeno výpočtem celkové hodnoty RMS. Ve třetím kroku experimentu byly válce postupně zatěžovány různými závažími ve svislém směru. Signály akustické emise byly zaznamenány z vysouvání a zasouvání pístu a poté analyzovány. Časové zpoždění se vypočítává z digitálního vstupu a začátku pohybu pístu. Energie signálu a RMS akustické emise porovnávají různé reakce v poškozených a nepoškozených pneumatických válcích s a bez zatížení. Výsledky testu ukázaly lineární vztah mezi křivkou RMS a zatížením. Defekty ovlivňují vztah mezi aplikovaným zatížením a zaznamenaným signálem snímačů.
Application of Predictive Maintenance Algorithms for State Monitoring of an Experimental Pneumatic Device
Štastný, Petr ; Brablc, Martin (referee) ; Dobossy, Barnabás (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with finding state indicators of pneumatic cylinder using algorithms of machine learning and data mining. The goal was to determine measurable quantity and algorithm of its evaluating, using which would be possible to identify state and sources of failures. The data of behavior of pneumatic cylinder were acquished on testing stand, which was equipped by sensors of 16 different quantities. Postprocessing and evaluating of the data took place in Matlab tools, particularly Diagnostic Feature Designer and Classification Learner.
Design of pneumatic cylinder testing equipment
Macek, Tomáš ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of test equipment for selected types of pneumatic cylinders. In the first, theoretical, part of the work is an analysis of the current state of knowledge in the field of pneumatic cylinders. Furthermore, the problems in the field of measurement and testing of pneumatic components are described here, selected linear position sensors are also described herein too. The second, practical, part deals with the choice of a suitable design variant and the actual solution of the test equipment design. A pneumatic circuit is also designed here. Part of the work is a 3D model of the test equipment and drawing documentation. The conclusion of the work is devoted to the overall evaluation of the work and recommendations for practice.
Design and digital commissioning of the bag handling gripper
Vávra, Daniel ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with a conceptual design of a handling gripper for 25-kilo bags and its subsequent digital commissioning. The theoretical part explains the issue with end effectors for handling, including introduction of specific concepts of bag handling grippers by chosen companies. There is also a problematic of virtual commissioning mentioned in the end of the theoretical part. The practical part deals with the conceptual design of the gripper itself, which is then substantiated by needed strength and kinematic analysis in a calculation report. The main advantage of designed solution is, apart from high moving speed, pallet gripping mechanism, due to which the gripper is able to prepare pallets for subsequent bag palletization automatically. In the end, the chosen conceptual solution is digitally commissioned in ABB Robot Studio program, along with creating a simulation of gripper moves.
Design of the pneumatic circuits tester
Buš, Martin ; Ranuša, Matúš (referee) ; Kučera, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the constructional solution of pneumatic circuit tester. In the first part of bachelor thesis there are brief information about Aventics Pneumobil Competition and racing vehicles of BUT team. The distribution of pneumatic cylinders, pneumatic control elements and sensors is outlined. The second part draws out a conceptual solution of load. Based on conceptual solution is developer structural design of pneumatic circuit tester.
Design of a workplace for partial assembly of an air conditioning compressor
Dračka, Miroslav ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
The subject of this master´s thesis is the design of a single-purpose assembly device for pressing round seats into the cylinders of an air conditioning compressor. The whole thesis leads to a complete 3D model of the machine, including drawings. The 3D model and drawings were created in SOLIDWORKS.
Design of single-purpose assembly machine for assembly of gas distributor in gas grill
Procházka, Petr ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
Objective of this thesis is creating the construction of one-purpose assembly machine for combination of gas switchboard in gas grill assembly, which is top part of the gas cooking grill, consisting of stainless steel plate and burners. There are three types of burners, one small type, two medium types and one big type. Each consists of aluminium body, nozzle, ignition electrode and gas leakage protection fuse. Prior to construction itself,  variant solutions of the assembly operations arrangement are designated. From those, the most appropriate one is chosen based on multicriteria weighting method. Construction of assembly line is created using 3D modelling program with necessary design calculations. For selected assemblies and parts, a drawing documentation has been created. Risk analysis and security of the machine’s normal operation is an integral part of the thesis. Risk analysis is created for the machine’s normal operation. In conclusion, the costs of purchasing the assembly line are calculated and the return of the investment for purchasing the machine is assessed.
